5 BAD WORDS THAT COULD BE GETTING YOU INTO A LOT OF TROUBLE.

Angry. Pissed. Disappointed. Scared. Lonely. Sad. Terrified. Okay, that’s 7.

7 words about feelings. Feelings. Yes, they’re negative feelings but they’re just feelings. That’s all they are. They’ve gotten a bad reputation in the law of attraction/think only positive thoughts New Age circles. We’re supposed to be peppy, happy, hopeful, loving etc.. etc.. Well, I have 4 words for that….

DANGER WILL ROGER… DANGER!

We need those feelings. Denial isn’t positive energy; it doesn’t shift anything, in fact it just buries us deeper in the negativity of said feeling. There’s nothing wrong with angry, scared, or sad. They’re just markers. They’re acknowledgements of where we are right this millisecond. It doesn’t mean we park there. It doesn’t mean we dig in deeper. It doesn’t mean we go into spelunking explorations of it. It just means that’s where we are right this millisecond.

Why does that matter? It matters incredibly if it isn’t where you want to park. If you want to move you have to start where you are. It’s sort of like taking a road trip and using your GPS. If you’re in Washington, DC and you want to go to Soho in NY and you keep entering Kansas as your starting point because you don’t want to deal with or admit that you’re in Washington, DC, you’re going to have a problem. You’re not going to get to Soho! The directions for Kansas-Soho are NOT the same as Washington-Soho. (I do realize that we now have super smart GPS systems and that once you got on the road it would self correct). But your energy GPS goes with your energy. Always.

So wherever you are is fine. It doesn’t mean you can’t go where you want to go. You don’t have to pretend you’re not there. You don’t have to hide it even from yourself. You don’t need to broadcast it if you don’t want to, but you do need to acknowledge where you are at least to yourself.

And did I mention that where you are changes, and changes and changes and changes and it’s all good? It’s a journey. We never intended to get there and park. We intended to experiment and dip our toes in this pond, and jump into this lake, and explore these woods. We wanted to expand just for the love of expanding. We wanted to explore just for the love of exploring!

So get to it! Get out there. Acknowledge where you are, set your eye on where you want to go and let the universe lead the way.
