You are still. Then you roil, boil and thrash. You flow. You freeze.
Life’s externals—what we call “reality”—yank our attention this way and that.
Those externals (oh yes, and they can come from inside our own minds too) feel so “real”; so front and center; so provocative. War, cancer, assault, a stubbed toe, an angry driver, divorce, loss, break ins, famine, a dirty look are just a some of their names. And yet…
It’s our inner landscape that sets the thermostat. Will we freeze, boil or flow?
There’s no doubt that it’s easy to loose our footing in the midst so many externals. But no matter how much we may want to argue our case, there’s no getting away from it.
It’s within ourselves amidst the static that we determine the climate for the flow that is us. The flow that is the purest essence of our beings.
Because the externals of our lives are so provocative, we lose track of our guiding hand in shaping of our energy.
And so, as I sit gazing out at a world filled with spring green I offer you Lady of Lake Part 1, a guided meditation.
Consider yourself duly invited to make space for the Divine Feminine within.
